Through 23 games last year we were 18-5. We are 20-3 this year.
I don't recall us having as many close wins last year up to now though. Plus, right now we have a lot more questions regarding what we have and who we can rely on as opposed to last year. I do realize our records though as you can see in my title of this thread.

close wins can only help us as the year progresses. 24-6 SEC record by the time postseason is here

I believe Didier is going to lock down 3rd for us.
What happened to Delatte? I thought coach told him third was his and not to look over his shoulder.

surely you jest, how many threads have been put forth about Ranaudo and when he's going to return and how much better LSU will be when he does....try and run that by the Ole Miss and Miss St fans about how you guys haven't whined about Ranaudo not being able to pitch, I'm sure they'll believe it....but as for me, "that dawg just won't hunt"
i dont think you understand the difference between bitching about someone being out and blaming a loss directly on it.

The difference is that you are excusing your poor performance. We are just discussing our potential. Frankly, it's the difference between being a 6 time NC and a team who is viewed as an easy win in Omaha.

We may be better now than last years team was at this point last season, but last years team improved a lot by the end. The true freshmen stepped up to become major contributers (Nola, Ott, Mahtook) and a fourth played a lot (Hanover). It is hard to expect a similar improvement in this team or any good team. I still expect a CWS appearance and hope for a title. I would not be upset if they got knocked out of a super though.

Way to lazy for that, why don't you just post them.
I did read the other day where like 3 or 4 guys were batting over .400 at LSU-E. Hopefully we get a couple more studs next year.

As soon as Ranaudo can get back to 6-7 innings an outing, we will be hard to beat in a series!
All we need to do is take 2 of 3 on each series and we will win the SEC. I don't see anyone running the table obviously and we already took 2 of 3 from Arkansas. If we do the same with Ole piss and UF, we will win the SEC.
