I love the Bugg man.

I'm curious as to how Bouman will fit into all this. How has he been playing? Is he set up to become a mid reliever vying for a starting spot again?
Posted on 11/12/14 at 9:37 am to Brageous
Bouman was hurt for the first part of fall practice. But he looked real good Sunday.

Bouman will dominate the Miss Valley's, and Alcorn State's that stroll into the Box for midweek battles.

I think he could be a long relief guy for us.
With the possibility if a couple freshmen starting for us, no doubt there will be some instances where the bullpen will be needed by inning 5

Too many young guns with power arms to not have them starting. Alan Dunn will earn his paycheck this year. There's no "ace" on this team, but there are about 8-10 guys who are good enough to carry this team as one of the best top to bottom staffs in the nation.

That's kind of what I was thinking as well, Josh. It's going to be interesting how Dunn uses everyone.

If you and I set the lineup, sure.

I think we will hit the ball better than we did last year. We basically have everyone back from last season.
I too see Bouman as long relief and the occasional midweek start.

Jan and Feb practices are "closed" right?
Only on days when we are putting in the Russell Shepard passing package.

Practices are closed on days that Paul Mainieri installs the early break bunt defenses and pick off plays.
Hint: LSU doesn't have these

We'll definitely see Alex Lange in the mix.
16 Ks in 15 IP this fall.

If we lose a baseball game this year, who's going to start the thread with pictures of all the umpires missed calls?
Posted on 11/12/14 at 11:24 am to TigerCub
It's a fact, though, that baseball umpires are not allowed to call the SEC games for the teams with which they have a connection.

Tiger Sports Digest has a breakdown of the 2015 recruits we are supposed to sign this week

I've just about decided to avoid all recruiting info until opening day.

"Latz"
I think he could be in that all freshman rotation if it comes to fruition.
