You went with the double negative to make a positive. Bold.

I can see this too. Regardless of where you are in the posi/nega spectrum, pretty much everyone is acknowledging this as a bad year. Another one like it next year and he'll really feel some heat.

I see that too. His sea may even get hot with two 9-4 seasons. There is no reason Miles shouldn't put together at-least one 10 or more win season in the next two seasons with the amount of talent he brought in this year, and will supposedly bring in 2016.

How do you think this team will compare to the 2013 team. Even though we laid an egg in Omaha we had one of the best regular seasons in LSU baseball history.

I know that our pitching is unproven but potentially great, our hitting should be way up with good returning players and some potential good new guys.

I think this team has so many early question marks... There are gonna be a lot of freshman asked to contribute in big time roles early and often. I am hopeful they can get up to speed and play well enough for us to be an Omaha bound squad.

if you had to put a percentage on the chances we make it to Omaha. What would you put it at?

The first one being can Poche be a legit Friday night guy in SEC play despite topping out at 88 mph?

Right now... Lange

But that's just a wild guess based on the fall. The spring will decide if it's Godfrey, Latz or Lange

So you think Godfrey, Lang or Latz takes over on Fridays?

I like them alot, but not sure I want them going up against another team's ace as a true frosh.

Hitting should be pretty good, even without factoring in the new ball. In terms of pitching, the main difference is no clear ace like we had in 2013 or last year with Nola. Practically guaranteed us a Friday win if we could score at all. We have a very deep pitching staff overall though, especially if these freshman pitchers come up big.
