I have seen no reports at all just a shot in the dark but I'm guessing it's Daniel Martinez getting the start

Other posts were edited, but the post stayed to keep the post count the same. I wouldn't get all bent out of shape about it. Admins just having fun with us. They've been awesome throughout this.

None of us take this that seriously. It's a great website that has put me in touch with fellow baseball fans where we can talk about this all day, every day. This thread has been a microcosm of that which was allowed to go on for over 100 days. To them for just letting us enjoy it.

I take that back... UNO Article

quote:

Senior Raymond Winter is tasked with opening the season against the second-ranked Tigers on Friday. Winter appeared in 20 games, all as a reliever for the Privateers last season. Winter had a 2.81 ERA in 2013, and picked up his first win in his longest outing, throwing 3.2 scoreless innings at McNeese. This will be Winter's first start of his collegiate career.

Among the top returners is junior pitcher Alex Smith who is slated to be a regular in the weekend rotation. Smith will get his first start of the season in the home opener against LSU at Zephyr Field on Saturday. Last season, Smith had a 3-9 record with a 4.50 ERA and hurled two complete games. He also led the team with 100.0 innings pitched.

Baseball America isn't even trying to hide its ACC bias anymore.
