One of the worst arguments ever. Charles Woodson wouldn't have beaten Florida either. Peyton had the bad luck of facing the two Florida teams that made it to the championship game in back to back years.
Champ Bailey was a true two-way player the very next season that didn't get half the love that Charles Woodson got. Woodson had about 9 catches on offense that year.

I thought the only realistic shot bama had of getting in was for both OSU and FSU to lose and face AU in a rematch?

you would think that is the case but Bama is 4 now, if #2 (OSU) and #3 (Aub) both lose and they don't bump Mizzou up from 5 to 2 (which everyone assumes they will of course) then there you go
