Couldn’t locate the list of bars that’s been posted previously, hoping to catch the baseball game tonight.

Yep, for bigger cities for sure. Someone posted a great list awhile ago for a bunch of cities but the bars switch around. There’s an alumni group in Dallas I’m sure, check with them as well.

Try Lavaca Street Bar or Shoal Creek Salon.

Shoal Creek Saloon

I’ve seen a bunch of LSU games there, and I’d like it a lot better if their parking lot didn’t hold like five cars, but other than that, it’s not a bad place. Food is decent.

Lavacca Street is fun. Went for LSU Ole Miss game . We had the back area with big screens. Tons of LSU fans go there

There have been plenty of threads on this.

Where in Dallas are you?

The Alumni Association puts on events and has watch parties all around Dallas. There is only one actually in Dallas. If you are near the Lower Greenville area, go to Dodie's Reef. It's an LSU and Saints bar. It is more like a smaller Walk-On's with small bar area. For big games it gets very crowded and to get a table you have to get there early.

There are other official watch parties farther out like the Colony, but I'm not sure about those.

Last year, an Uptown bar called Eastwood's started having LSU watch parties as well. They tried becoming an official bar, but it didn't work out. There are usually a ton of us that go there since it is in walking/cheap ubering distance. They have plenty TV's and places to sit or stand. They play the game on the loud speakers, fly an LSU flag outside, and have drink specials for LSU fans. Really fun. The address to that place is 3407 McKinney Ave near West Village.

Ive been to all the LSU bars in Austin, including Lavaca Street for the CWS last year. FWIW it was fricking dead and I was pissed I went there instead of Shoal Creek. Shoal Creek gets lit for Saints games outside on the deck at least. Havent been there for a LSU baseball game before but sure it has more fans into the game than Lavaca did went I went there last year.

ETA: Yeah, Shoal Creek Saloon has the big Saints helmet on top of the roof.

I’m not sure how LSU Lavaca is now that Uncle Stu isn’t there. But it’s really convenient if you’re staying downtown. Can walk if it’s not too hot and far. Can Uber to Shoal Creek. I’d call ahead and see who’s doing what.

Lavaca street is not a real Lsu bar. They’re one of those places that claims to be ‘the’ bar for 2 dozen different teams to drum up business. I went there for the Wisconsin football opener and the place was decked out in red and white and had Wisconsin fans out the arse. Come to find out it, it’s also ‘the Wisconsin bar.’ Shoal Creek is exclusively an LSU bar.
