Never so embarassed to be an LSU alum as I was in Morgantown Wv when Neck was played and the fan based chanted that shite.... We made friggin hillbillies look civilized. Sad truly sad...

Show some collective class and the things that the students want; shall return.
Student section should have learned that lesson in 2nd grade but collectively, they didn't. They, like second graders cuss in unison and say;
"Hey! Look at me, look at me. I am part of something BIG and funny. There are no repercussions for my behavior, so I'll keep actin g like a lil prick. ! Hey, wait you can't take that from me......waaaahhhhhhh. "
Way to make the loudest stAdium stifle itself, students.
The Maryland basketball fans called. They want their "no class" back.
Show some collective class and the things that the students want; shall return.

Your entire contribution in this thread proves otherwise.
This is simple. If we all enjoy these songs (Tiger Rag more so than a fricking Cameo song for me at least) then it's pretty simple how we can get them back. Not chant profanity in unison. Your problem seems to be that you feel the need to argue in favor of the profanity rather than in favor of the songs. If it was all about the songs, you'd support the very reasonable solution to get them back. The issue has nothing to do with whether or not the university expects fans (or students in this case) to sit quietly and be nice little boys and girls...though that straw man sure is fun to knock over, am I right?
Come early, stay late, be as loud as possible...DON'T SCREAM "frick" IN UNISON SO LOUDLY THAT A NATIONAL TV AUDIENCE CAN CLEARLY HEAR IT. If you guys could somehow manage that, we'd have the song catalog back. If not...

Maybe all you old folks can bring soap to wach out all the students mouths for saying bad words. Or another great idea is realzing you're at a college football game that would not even exist without the students that attend the school.

FYI those old folks were the ones that made Tiger Stadium intimidating and loud before you were an immature little tadpole in your dad's sack.
1980s 87000 was better than your 2013 92000....... What does that say about you and your need to show no class?
Loud and intimidating gave way to immature, cussing and leaving before the fourth quarter. Great job kids.
Again, learn what the elementary kids already know, act like a child; get rewarded like a child. It's easy.

I'm an old fart who doesn't curse in the stadium anymore. But, the majority of students back "in the day" were just as vulgar as this group of students.
Get over it. Some people act like they so are so righteous and pure. I enjoy Tiger Rag and Neck and really don't care what the students scream. In unison or not. I'm a grown man, I won't get AIDs or Herpes or Hepetitas or the Flu because the student section screamed suck that tiger dick.
And guess what, if my kid that sits next to me screams it, he'll be punished. He knows what acceptable behavior is and is not. But, I don't lock him in a bubble. He's probably heard worse from an aunt or uncle. I wouldn't scream you suck or suck that tiger dick. I don't yell kick their arse either. Those that do, should give up the season tickets in the comfy parts of the stadium and be forced to sit with the student because you are SO VULGAR!

So again...are we arguing about the songs or the ability to scream profanities?
If it's about the songs, then there's an easy fix. If it's about having songs to accompany screaming profanity, then you seem to be at a loss.
