I wonder if we can get Ghost in the Machine ??.

Who the hell wants to drink a double IPA in 100 degree weather?

I'd much rather Canebrake if we were getting something from Parish Brewery

This is beyond dumb. I’m a student and I’m just gonna walk to wherever I can buy it, and I know I’m not alone. All this will do is cause more congestion in other parts of the stadium

It's not hard to understand. A lot of the students are underage and all they need is someone over 21 to bring them beer back. There's no way the cops could check id's of all the students with the beers in the stands. If it got out that LSU was easily enabling underage drinking it would be a terrible image. That said students are still going to easily sneak stuff into the stadium.

Looking forward to watching the Aramark employees crunching numbers to figure out whether someone is 21 or not based on their DOB.

They can’t handle totaling up a $6.00 hotdog and a $4.00 coke.

They need to set up beer stations to relieve the concession lines.

I rather not spend $20 on a 20oz draft beer

In unrelated news a year from now, LSU's endowment has received significantly more funds than in previous years.

Only issue I see is the wait times at concession stands just doubled and I have no confidence Aramark can handle it
I'm more excited for beer at the baseball games without having to go sit in a tent

The only downside to this is the lines at the piss station and the folks getting up every few seconds in the stands to take a piss

They'll just do whatever they did for Bayou Country Superfest.

I can see why pricing will take a little while to develop. Think of it as a business - the logistics of distributing alcohol throughout the stadium are significant, you have to predict demand based on location, because redistribution mid game is not viable.

Or you can do what aramark has always done, get a huge contract from the athletic department, do a shat job making sure theres enough supply to last the whole game while charging $12 for a burger with green meat and half a piece of cheese. And then still get your contract renewed every year. I'm as excited as the next guy for some beer but lets not actually think they are gonna to go about this logically.

I'm guessing beer prices will start at $12

I think the pricing in the south uppers currently is something like $6-8 for 16 oz. aluminum bottles. High, but not absurd as far as stadiums are concerned.

It’s open season now tho. They’ll raise prices as high as they can

Is it safe to assume basketball and baseball will serve beer as well?

EVERY sport will get alcohol.

When, not If.
