Throw out Will Wade bc he brought that 'shite' on the Athletic Department...not the other way around.
Throw out Jimbo and Herman bc I think it was brilliant not to get into a bidding war with either (especially Jimbo).
In regards to the other 'missteps' or 'misses', I would proffer that almost all major departments have these types of issues. We just don't hear about them bc we don't care about them. You have to micro manage your fandom to have most of these things on your radar.

I’m pretty sure I used then vs than correctly. I’m no grammar scholar by any means; maybe you are. Much better at the math and science thing.

The way to keep the pair straight is to focus on this basic difference: than is used when you're talking about comparisons; then is used when you're talking about something relating to time. Than is the word to choose in phrases like smaller than, smoother than, and further than.
I was comparing Tennessee’s athletic department to LSU’s. So I went with than. Who’s the clown now?

Ah, another grammar police. Two on the same thread, how lucky. I somehow graduated from LSU (College of Engineering) so I would consider myself “kind of” educated. Not sure about the intelligent part though. English is definitely not my strongest attribute.
