I noticed that when I went to UH's website.

I just ended up buying tickets on StubHub back when we were 3-0. I wish I would've waited, they probably have dropped a few bucks.

Is there a fear that UH will sellout the arena?

They think so I guess, but they have averaged only 1800 in a 10,000 seat arena so far this year.

How much did you pay for them? I just checked, and the cheapest were $29.

I ended up paying $30 per ticket after tax.

I opted for seats in the "premium sections" there were cheaper options when I did book.

yeah I have been checking periodically and it seems to have stayed the same if not gone up. I may risk it and just wait until the day of the game.

If you would like to risk it you can attempt a walk up purchase on game day, but that will only be happening if there are seats still available.

This line gave me chuckle. I'm sure there will be plenty of tickets available. This guy seems awfully over-confident in his team's fans' ability to actually support a 'meh' program.

That's bs. It's not our fault they can't sell any tickets.

I decided to go out to UH and buy the package in person, to avoid fees. Wanted to see the new TDECU Stadium as well, and got to walk in on a Friday during the day. Pretty nice, on the small side (42,000?). They had reserved seats on the upper side for only $10, so the package was only $30, which I figured wouldn't be too bad if for just the one game. I also bought Temple and SMU, two pretty good teams coming in later. They charge $5 for parking, though - and you can buy beer at the games.

When I started reading the email from UH, I thought you were joking, because I can't believe they actually said that. I figure there will be about 4-5,000 actual attendance for the game. When the Texans got flexed to a night game on the same night vs. the Pats at home, I thought UH might move the game time to 5:00 (and they still might do that, but if they were going to seems they would have already done it).

Wouldn't that just create two sold out games with plenty of empty seats?
