You stated as fact that Robe didn't want something. On what basis are you making that claim? Are you his assistant? Did he otherwise tell you that?

Its not stupid. LSU would gain nothing from playing a 3 game series at ULL. Especially if it turned into an every other year thing.

While I can't say for sure, LSU has been the home team for at least the past few years, so I don't see it changing this year.

Even if you know that Robe is one of these genuinely nicest guys out there (he is) and just a good overall guy (he is), he's still a coach marketing his program. And he's still smart enough to know what to say to get his fanbase excited, even if it's not 100% factual.
And it's okay to say those things without it being insulting to him, especially since there is no reason he should be insulted by someone saying he knows how to generate excitement.

The classic is in New Orleans because of Wally. It's at Zephyr because it's the best venue in the area. It's always there. Proceeds go to the foundation. Has nothing to do with teams bickering or anything.
What I do find funny is that ULL fans beg for a 3 game series when their coach doesn't even want it.
