LSU and Syracuse are working on a home-and-home series to begin in 2015, according to sources.
The series would likely kick off in Death Valley, though it's uncertain whether the contract is done.
LSU was one of a handful of SEC schools that needed to finish its 2015 non-conference schedule before the league releases its comprehensive football slate in the coming months. Alabama and Mizzou are among others still finding extra games.
The league's 8-game conference schedule for 2015 is pretty much done, I'm told.

i guess we gotta play somebody. i just wish there was a little more equity in a home and home series between the two venues.

I always love the constant schedule bitching.
LSU should play the current #1 team in all 4 of their OOC games every year.

Why not? You gotta admit playing in Yankee Staium would be pretty cool. And playing in big time out of state venues has the added benefit of LSU fans staying the entire game cheering their Tigers on from the stands and not someplace on Perkins Road trying in vain to "beat the traffic".

Y'all do realize that Syracuse is in the ACC now? Considering the fact that OOC record could play a role in a playoff berth. I don't have a problem playing a team like them.

Syracuse is better than an FCS team or a weak instate opponent like ULL or Tulane that would be a given blow out

We do owe these frickers from the hall of fame bowl back in 1989

shite! When I saw the subject I thought this was going to be about basketball.
For football though I guess it's better than another Western, Northern, etc.(enter state) on the schedule. Of course, that is if the games are at TS and the Carrier Dome, and not at the Buffalo Bills' home stadium and Dallas.

Plus, we tried to organize a home/home with one of the top tier teams from the ACC [Florida St.] and that ended up going down the drain.
