Happy for JJ. Even though he was terrible here, he's still a Tiger.

Thought Dupree was still there but apparently he’s on the Bucks scouting staff now.

Don’t know how people are down voting stuff. Jones was a bad HC but at least got talent to get people excited about basketball again. Didn’t work out and he’s was justifiably fired but did nothing to warrant rooting against the guy. He was part of tiger basketball history as a player, assistant, and head coach. Wish nothing but the best for him

He was as bad as it gets as far as being a head coach at LSU. Almost seemed like he didn't care or maybe he just didn't have it in him. Either way I'm glad he rebounded and is doing well. Life is too short to hate people you don't know, he may be a great guy.

FYI, Johnny only had 1 season under .500 in conference while at LSU. Wade did that in his 1st season. I love Wade, so dont start with that. Just saying, yall need to stop hating on my boy.

Hmm and what season was that?

Wasn't it last season? When he actually had some talent and went 2 and 16.

2 and 16

2 and 16

last season..

therefore he left Wade with a team that finished 13th in the SEC I think? I am not sure.

Wade took over that 13th place team and finished 9th in the SEC and improved the SEC record by 6 wins.

That's quite an accomplishment.

He took over a 10 win team.. 10 wins.. 10 wins..
Got to 18 wins in his first season?

This....good for Johnny. He's a good guy. Everybody likes Johnny. Musselman likes Johnny like everyone else does and did him a solid. Maybe he'll help him land a recruit or two, he can maybe help in that regard. His son is there too I understand, not sure if he can play, but maybe Musselman sees a U-High pipeline so it all isn't purely mercenary.

Muss actually hired CJJ after the way JJ treated him in BR. That is unbelievable.

He's a class act for those that have got to know him personally. I went to LSU same time with him. Agree that the team imploded under his leadership, and had to go. Yet so happy to see him move forward contributing as the Associate HC at Nevada, and getting to the sweet sixteen.
