LSU AD’s: Measure of Success

Was pondering what defines “success” for an AD, i.e., what you are essentially asking the next AD to do. Is success measured on overall # of championships? Over what period of time do you have for this to occur? Nattys in only glamor sports like football/Mbb?
Naturally, there’s some subjectivity insofar as depends on the school, but let’s talk LSU. For instance, nobody at LSU would give a shite about Minnesota winning the women’s college hockey championship, but I’m sure Minnesota fans would.
What does the next AD have to do to be defined as successful for you?
This is what you’re comparing to:
Skip Bertman: 2001-2008
2 (football: 2003, 2007)
Joe Alleva: 2008-2019
2 (2009 baseball, 2015 men’s golf)
Scott Woodward: 2019 – 2025
5 (2 baseball, 1 wbb, 1 gymnastics, 1 men’s track)
Edit: to add the track natty. Not sure why that didn’t show up in search

Not getting trounced by Bama, OM or A&M

Football is the most lucrative, so therefore it's measured against that.

Firing Woodward was definitely a (politically motivated) mistake. Instead of having a real AD that had held that job at big schools around the country (Washington, A&M, etc.) we will now take some guy from McNeese. Backup plan is the dude from Southeastern. shite is downright pathetic.

You’re missing the 2019 Natty in football
