Yeah, I have a feeling that sheer amount of schools caught up in this to varying degrees will help LSU avoid huge sanctions like LOIC if the schools act on the info they have. I think the NCAA will mainly end up handing out a lot of show cause bans to the coaches themselves.

From what I have seen pretty much every coach that has had direct quotes from tapes leaked has been fired already.

Sean Miller is a outlier because his exact quotes have not yet been put out--just various and somewhat conflicting reports of what they actually have on him. But, if you look at the articles, there is not yet one direct quote from him. I think it's coming that he'll have some quotes like the ones from Wade come out and that's why he just basically resigned.


However, any direct quotes released have immediately led to schools suspending and firing the coaches on tape. It's been assistants until the last few days with direct quotes released.

For example, the Alabama assistant they had talking about buying for a dinner for Colin Sexton and his parents and meeting a handler was suspended and fired immediately and I think they immediately suspended Sexton indefinitely until the NCAA cleared him.

Slightly different cases but it's not that LSU is the only school to suspend first or fire coaches with direct quotes on these tapes and put it in NCAA's hands.

I just read that if they can find a reason to fire him they will be off the books for up to possibly 800,000 thousand dollars to Wade for numerous accomplishment by both himself and his baskwtball team. .

Go figure. They never wanted him to be this successful. Ever. Can't afford football, basketball, and baseball becoming all powers. Too much bills.

Word I am hearing on the street is that Wade will be fired at a later date.
