The scouting report on Hawaii coming in was that they had very good pitching. I believe Doug said last night that the team ERA coming in was 1.77 and that they had only given up 19 earned runs all year compared to 64 for LSU.

Looked at the schedule and I don't know if any of those teams are that good. Plus last night was their first road game of the year. Coming into the season I would think LSU would win most games when only giving up 4 runs.
Air Force 4-9
BYU 7-6 (Weak schedule and swept by Auburn)
LMU 4-10

I agree...we all knew that this year may be a struggle. We are a third of the way through at this point and have struggled.

I still think LSU wins the series and teams go through hitting slumps but pitching is doing their job so it just kinda sucks.
