Looks like last season was the high point of JJs coaching career. One and done in the dance and he'll never sniff it again. Done

Johnny Jones is simply an apology. LSU basketball is a dumpster fire, until further notice. What a joke.

Sooooo disappointing so far.

Coaching and recruiting. So busy recruiting wing players and 3-point shooters, who btw, can't hit 3 pointers, that Johnny forgot to recruit post players that can actually defend and rebound. Malone? No. Bridgewater? No. Robinson? No. Epps? Better than the others but no. Who rebounds if Simmons doesn't?
And coaching. If you can't teach your players to defend dribble penetration without fouling you can't win. Sorry. It's been like that for years. Even before Johnny got there. But he can't put a solid defensive game plan together to save his life. We don't help. We don't set up for charges. And remember, 2 of houstons starters were on the bench in foul trouble for most of the half. They go zone and we settle for 3's. Ballgame.

LSU basketball never changes, ever. This is bigger than Simmons. I predict 17 wins, miss out on tourney, Simmons gets picked #1, we all say what could've been, and then celebrate his NBA greatness and how proud we are he went here.

Yep. There are hundreds of coaches that could make the tournament with this team. At least Johnny is an "LSU Guy."

I took up for Johnny Jones last year but I can't do it anymore. Watching how badly we get out coached is embarrassing.

I honestly wish Ben had gone to Duke...we wouldn't have bought into the false hope of all the hype and we wouldn't be bearing witness to how sadly he's being coached. That kid deserves better.

LSU got their Good Ole Baw from the network with Jones. A Dale Brown man. Not the best hire but a moderately successful coach who was already a part of the network. He's here for the long haul regardless of results.

LSU needs to hire a good coach from the east coast

This game needs more Josh gray. At least he can get into the lane and dish.

"Simmons needs to start looking to score. He doesn't have the ball in his hands nearly enough."
When will you people understand he doesn't have the game to score at will. At this point in his career he has no chance of scoring outside of 5 feet. That's a huge obstacle to overcome. You don't even have to closely guard him in a half court set when he's facing the basket. He can't post up against zone because nobody hits any shots to keep D off of him. LIMITED is our offensive philosophy .
