I'm putting $5 on Kentucky at 100/1

That's their odds to win the SEC, not the BCS...
...I know, same thing. Just sayin'.

I got 15 to one at Cesar's Palace in Vegas two weeks ago. Why the sudden jump in odds?
ETA - mine was the BCS not the SEC

I know but based off of the previous 7 seasons, I just assumed...

Those are conference championship odds.

Vegas odds are from 18 to 20-1 for natty.
That's as of a few days ago
Close friend just booked at 20-1. Believe it was at Venetian

You guys are donating. Hell, when LSU was the co-chalk with USC back in 2007, with people legitimately betting them hard locally and worldwide to win it after letting the 2006 season get away from them, when you could get 8/1 and 10/1 with what well figured to be the most talented team in the land..
And so now in 2013, with a record number of NFL early draftees gone from a loaded 2012 team that still dropped 2 regular season games last season, plus the bowl game.
Coupled to a Bama team that's won three of the last four natty crowns, and b-2-b champ, with a roster still largely intact, full of Saban #1 classes in waves, and full of young defensive contributors that only figure to improve an already dominant Saban D. Urban Meyer with easy schedule, loaded Lville out of Mickey Mouse conference, Oregon/Stanford out west,etc..
You wish to bet LSU to win BCS, in a season where they must venture to Athens and TTown??
LSU's regular season win total is 9-3 Under -$1.40!! Wake up!!!!

Damn, as the season gets closer, the odds continue to get better.

If it were in the 20+ range I might would partake, just in case, but I won't play at 9-1.

I love how Bama's young guys will be contributors to a "dominant Nick Saban defense" while he implies our young guys will cause us to struggle.
Get Bama's dick out of your mouth dude.

You can book at 20 to 1 right now. I checked. He booked at Venetian.
Given our schedule this year, we only have to win 6% of the time to have overlay in EV. I like those odds. RestoreRoar, get off Saban's knob bro. If you are even a reasonably knowledgable fan, you would know how close we have been with Bama over the last 5 years. Not gonna spend an hour explaining it. With one exception, we could have won every single meeting. Not likely, but not crazy either. Bama has had the luxury of ref assistance, scheduling assistance, and a well coached and well stocked with talent team. Slight variance, matched with what already was and is stacked in Bama's favor, is all that separates the two teams. Only ignorant people simply look at the rings in awe and can't see the forest through the trees.
