He is horrible. I cringe every time the ball is hit or thrown to him as well as every time he comes up to bat.

I hope we have a 3rd basemen waiting in the wings. Slaughter is just too inconsistent. Let him play corner outfield or DH.

Slaughter has never been solid defensively. Should probably have been caught, but he needs to take his time and deliver a better throw there.
I still remember a guy laughing at others saying Slaughter is not a good defender.. not sure why.. he has never been an above average defender.

I'm just gonna continue posting that Jake needs to be on 1st with Bain at 2nd and reid at 3rd and keep getting downvoted every time I do.
Dudes got a great glove but his arm is wild and footwork is terrible. Not to mention the positive of getting Broussards bat out the lineup
