Schmidt going to come in the bottom of the inning feeling much more relaxed. I can understand the 1st inning jitters, especially for his first Friday start of the season (last weekend moved to Saturday).

His team picked him up, now it's time for him to show them some love.

There’s was a chance for the pitcher to get out this inning under 45 pitches and a tied game. Great job there hitting the ball hard and running it up
