This is a great point and is super frustrating in and of itself, obviously, but it also frustrates me in these threads with guys whining about the umpires. College baseball umpires are not good. But our pitchers have got to give them more chances to call balls strikes.
Goddamn it, Floyd. Throw a great change up 3-2 with the bases loaded to get the K, get a free strike on the next guy, then hit him the 1st pitch to give them a run. And then hit the next one to make it 2-0.

We don’t have a reliable starting pitcher after Skenes. Floyd isn’t it man. We need to pray to God that Shores isn’t out for the year and he can go Saturday and pitch Edwards on Sunday. our bullpen will get worse but you cant win games with starting pitching like this.

Maybe his strength is more in development and that will show itself in the next few years, but I am not impressed at all in Wes Johnson’s pitch sequencing
