I’ll take the aggression. We gotta force runs when we can’t make them

I’m now convinced more than ever this is a horribly coached baseball team.

At this level, there are things you expect guys to know/do already. Jay shouldn’t have to instill the most basic baseball fundamentals to the level of player that signs here. Running on a dropped third strike or after you bunt the ball shouldn’t be something he needs to coach.

I’m not a fan of Schmidt’s body language and pretty tired of seeing it. Doesn’t agree with a call and it’s full meltdown.

He just missed his location by 20” and thought he’d still get the call.

You're already in scoring position. Maybe if it was Patrick, but no i don't believe that was a straight steal

Jay gave Ruckert a high five going back into the dugout so it seems like it was Jay’s call and Reaves didn’t get the bunt down

I love being aggressive, but we do it at all the wrong times this year. That would have been a run if Jay just plays it straight up.

I still love the guy but he is over managing like crazy.

Sometimes you got to let the players play and the game play out.

I don’t think it’s that unpopular of an opinion.

He’s improved over last year, when he had no ability to pull it back after any frustration or anything going wrong. But he does still have things like that to work on.

Turned the game on and the first thing I see is William Schmidt walk a batter on a 3-2 pitch directly down the middle
