True, but he has also proven versatile enough to play 1st and be a backup catcher. Maybe if he stays, we don’t need a defensive catcher from the portal.

I’m not too sold on him as an outfielder. He’s looks too slow to be a regular out there.

Next year's team with some combination of Braun, Serna, Arrambide, Yamin, Ruckert, and Patrick is a pretty solid core.

Why can’t these pitchers go through one inning without a HBP or a walk.
