I think that was always going to be the plan, but I’m curious why starting Strickland in particular would elicit that response from you. Of all the possibilities to start, he is the one most likely to have an extended outing. He went 6 IP against WVU in the regional.

I'm a little surprised they didn't go Milazzo behind the plate and Travinski DH just because Hayden took a beating last night.

I don't think we see Milazzo unless there's a game 3 and we start throwing a bunch of breaking balls.

Theres no way Milazzo sees the field unless Travinski is hurt or we up 15-3. No way you take his bat out the lineup for any reason.
