I was there. 15 years old. We just kept scoring, and scoring, and scoring. Didn't realize it was such a record night until later.

I worked that game as a kid with my chums, in concessions, ice reloading, and serving drinks in the crowd.

Speaking of working games. I remember working the old Grantland Rice Bowl. Anyone remember those? It was basically the D-2 playoffs at a neutral field. LSU hosted a few. I pulled for Delaware because they wore "Michigan" helmets.

Didn't notice anyone mentioning this, but Steve Ensminger's stat line was 8 - 5 passing with 4 touchdown passes.

Did not know that. Excellent tidbit. That's probably a record that will take a while to break. Incredible. I'm sure the 6 catches for TD's along w the yardage will NEVER be broken. Ensminger could throw the go route/bomb as good as anyone. Saw him torch defenses from Jr. High thru college.

Carlos Carson was a beast. It's crazy that he wasn't highly recruited at all coming out of high school. One of the best receivers to ever wear the p&g.

I was there. My favorite game in TS. Carlos was my favorite Tiger footballer as a kid.

Was not there but was listening to John Ferguson and Walter Hill. Always my favorite.
