Don’t know about that. But I Do think winning at Auburn this year is as tough if not tougher then beating Oklahoma anywhere. And we did that last night.

Texas A&M should get a big boost next week.

Yeah just wait until Ok runs up against a physical team that can control clock, play good defense and STs.

LSU would likely beat them like a drum. Similarly to what we did to Louisville a couple years ago. That will sort itself out though bc they face pretty decent teams like Texas, Ok State, TCU, and West Virginia. I almost said A&M LMAO.

I agree. OU will have their hands full with TCU if they eliminate stupid mistakes that cost them going down to the wire against OSU last night.

Polls are a snapshot in time - LSU may not be a Top 5 team at the end of the year, but at this point in time, from what we know now, LSU has proven itself worthy - its too bad the voters don't take their ballots more seriously...

But, as you said, if LSU wins out, at 10-2, LSU could end the season at #5 and it works itself out over time.

If only losses were to GA & AL who would end up both top four, LSU would garner a #5 ranking.

WHY???? Miami is way overated,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, AU is a great team... But I still don't think we are the 6th best team in the country...

A GREAT win yesterday, but trouble looms on the horizon.........

So, you give NO credibility to the exact poll that we're discussing?

Who, besides LSU has beaten TWO Top Ten ranked teams this year? Yes, ranked by the same yahoo's we're discussing.

The future schedule will take care of itself. Let the poll reflect what has been demonstrated on the field.

Here's an unusual media input

LSU ranked too low!

OK MY BAD... This LSU offense is A fine oiled machine......

The defense is great but against an OU type team they would have such a short field to work with it would be nuts..................

LSU has absolutely earned a spot in the top 5 at this point but we all know that this poll is meaningless.

I would rather see us ranked way low to keep that chip our Tigers shoulders since this will all be sorted out soon enough anyway.

It's way better for our resume to have Auburn still in the top 10. Plus they beat Washington just two weeks ago. Doesn't make sense to have UW ahead of them.

You are correct in that LSU's offense in not there "yet"...

But, it is making progress...Burrow only has 3 starts under his belt and this team is very young as far as experience...many Sophomores, Freshman playing, and first year starters.

Let's see if they continue to get better.

Three from the western division.

There's typo, it should say Auburn and SEC Referee Crew #2, #9.
