Some say the SEC is better then some low Major league AA teams.

Maybe on a Friday night against pitchers like Skenes, Dollander, Waldrep but not across the board.

5-0 now. Mizzou also beat TCU and Texas earlier in the year. They might be a sleeper team this year.

I will be shocked if Thompson finishes the year hitting .250. He’ll be up around .300. In the .280-.290 range.
I hope so but I don't know why he would get better against stiffer competition.

Again - I love Jordan and he's a mainstay in the lineup because that glove is salty

I agree but has been said. . I think we have as much talent as some rookie leagues

We probably would beat most complex league teams, we’re more comparable to the old short season A or even Low A sometimes.

I mean he did it last year.

The only year he hit .250 was as a true freshman.

I agree it makes no sense that he would get better in SEC play, but I think JT hasn’t even gotten close to reaching his potential as a hitter

At the same time, there's been some shitty strike calls on balls off the plate. The hitters haven't known where the strike zone is all weekend. It's supposed to be the pitcher's job to keep the hitters off balance - not the ump's.

Still could be. Guy coming back from injury. Long season.
