I'm enjoying the hell out of this Aggie beatdown. The only annoying aspects are Brie Larson trying to sell me an EV every break and Amazon trying to promote a gap-toothed, mustached female teen who dresses like Freddie Mercury and acts like a dork in front of everyone as cool.

Jay talked about this a lot last year. He teaches hitters to be patient. It’s a big shift from Mainieri who wanted guys swinging at the first fastball they saw.
The positive in Paul’s favor is we struck out less. But the positives in Jay’s philosophy is we become good two strike hitters, we run up the pitch count, and get to the bullpen by the 6th inning.
