I think our best weekend rotation right now is probably:

Friday : Walker
Saturday : Marceaux (Hilliard looked good though)
Sunday : Hill

Both gave up 3 runs.

Walker looked better, but won't pitch as deep into the game.

Eta.
And IF we didn't have 3 runs, tied. It would look much different.

Sure but Hess made us go to our bullpen much earlier with the pitch count

Walker has much better command it's just that his stuff is more hittable.

Correct. You can’t chew up your bullpen first game of a weekend series.

I don't disagree. Hill and Hilliard is splitting hairs and I think Marceaux has the best combination of power and control of all of them. I really believe yesterday was 1st road start jitters for him.

To me, Hess is a relief pitcher. He has the mentality and electric stuff for it.

I think Walker has already pitched more than Hess though? If not it’s pretty close

Yea that’s a base hit for Beloso if they are playing normal depth. Tough break for Cade

Beloso needs to quit swinging for the fences

Walker was pretty capable of pitching into the 6th and 7th his freshman year if I remember right.

That would be just fine if we can get him stretched out to that point by SEC play.

Hess usually goes around 5 because of pitch count. I think walker could go 7 when the arm gets 100%

Texas has brought the 3rd basemen over there in every at bat for Beloso. Expect that to happen for the rest of the season until he shows he can hit the ball to left.
