It's not about this series being crucial. It's about watching LSU's pitching staff, which was supposed to be a strength, struggling again.

Young or returning from injury on the road for the first time. If we’re still struggling to pitch in April then I’ll be worried. I’ve seen too many good staffs struggle in March to be worried

I just hate our approach at the plate. But Mainieri has always wanted our guys to be aggressive.

Garza up
2 out Reid on 1st

1-0
2-0 high & inside
Groundout to SS

Why swing at that?

Walking 20+ batters over a two game stretch has nothing to do with youth, and Hess is not coming off of an injury.

LSU's staff has issues right now. Sticking your head in the sand doesn't change that.

I wish we had more Reid's to put pressure on the pitcher. Actually make pitchers work.

Do we just suck now or what? Pathetic if we get swept.

The guys on the field thought it was a foul ball and didn’t pursue and then a big home run carried by the wind gave them the lead

We still have time to get back in this

If Reid keeps getting on base he's going to force CPM to keep him in the lineup.

I’m not saying they don’t have issues right now. But a lot of things can change throughout the month of March.

I’m not saying everything is just peachy now. There’s a lot of work to do to meet our goals. I’m saying it’s too early to hit the panic button.

Chris Reid wants that starting spot. Great play on a great bunt.

Broussard, Mathis and Hughes can't be in the lineup together until one of them starts getting on base.
