It's Les Miles' fault.

We expect too much as Fans- TJ gets three years to rebuild- He did an excellent job last year but like it nor he was playing with Brady recruits-- This year is year two- next year we have to stop making excuses.

Hopefully Dotson will get fully healthy and start to come into his own. So it is not just Bo and Taz with Storm starting to bloom.

Same with Spencer. More of a role player asked to be the #1 option.

Sure Spencer can create his own shot. Being on the court would help.

ESPN is so pissed LSU made it to NYC, it made for some bad TV. You can hear it in their voices in the post-game segment.

he still is, the only guys on this team currently that he recruited are Ludwig and Dotson. So I don't really know why you keep bashing all his recruits when he's only had one recruiting season at LSU.

Why am I a retard? I simply asked a question about a sport you chastised someone for not knowing anything about. Apparently you can't spell it

not really

he shot 41% last year as a 3rd option, playing off Thornton and Taz

this year id be surprised if he shoots over 40% from the field.

As a sophomore.

He doesn't have the same inside game that Thornton had, so that could very well be the case. But from 3 he pretty good last season.
FG%: .412
3P%: .403

yeah, and 41% is subpar

that enough evidence for me that he cannot create his own shot very well. He's limited in size and athleticism. He is much better suited to be a role player. its not his fault, thats just how the team is built this year

as the year went along i liked how he got better at creating off the dribble, mainly getting into the paint and getting good looks close to the goal last season. i just think he's trying a little hard right now, like you said not his fault. against uconn he got right into the paint and instead of making a dish to harris or warren tried to loft it over uconn's big guys. when he's out there it does give us another option, when he shoots the three he's got to get in perfect form otherwise he usually misses. that's where marcus was so good, if nothing was there just step back and put up a three.

Several observations.

1. You got the best players playing way too many minutes. Therefore they get tired by the end of the game.
2. Why do we still not have enough depth on the bench, see number one above.
3. Shooting percentages is still the piss poor.

because one guy who was supposed to start is out for the year, and our starting PG was out for the game

I agree with that. but still we have guys that have not played much and do not get much experience.
