Because they shift the entire infield so the only hole is if the hitter goes opposite field. Our shift is an effort to try and make up for Dugas' severe lack of range, so we only shift him to where we think the ball will be hit, but it still creates a hole on the pull side.

I get it but we’re hitting it right to the guy in the shift. We don’t seem to get that break with Dugas.

Another one right into the shift that doesn’t seem to ever work for us.

I’ve always wondered when the shift is on like that to attempt to bunt to the third base side or at least slow your swing enough to hit to the opposite side.

Sullivan really has shut us down in last 3 innings

Just a wonderful decision by Jay to load the lineup with lefties against a lefty

Can't believe they can't adjust their stance to hit the other way.

3 dead pull lefties. The 3B plays short right field more than third base.

HIT THE BALL THE OTHER WAY

If this is the lineup going forward we are going to give up a lot of easy outs.

Drives me crazy that dudes can't poke a ball or bunt it toward 3rd base.

Uga pitcher should only have one more winning in him with the top of the order up

2 hits through 4 isn't going to cut it on a Sunday *

The only difference in the lineup is Pearson is starting and not Milazzo.

When there is three guys on one side of the infield, chances are you're going to hit directly to one of them if you pull it.

Our shift still has 2 guys on either side of 2nd.

This pitcher is pitching to the shift. Can’t hit it the other way unless they all can magically swing inside out - which is really hard to do if you’ve never had that swing.
