Shores doesn’t have a great K pitch, even with the hard fastball. Been an issue for him all season,

Been an issue for him his whole career. I know he’s gonna get drafted high enough/get a big enough bonus to leave, but if he came back and could develop that out pitch, he could jump up into the 1st round pretty easily.

Right now, clubs have to see him as a back of the pen guy. He just has to throw too many pitches to get outs. They’ll try to develop him into a starter, but know they can always stick him in the pen if it doesn’t work out.

But if he could develop that out pitch and PROVE that he can be efficient enough to start, it would limit teams’ risk and make them more likely to take him really high and throw a big number at him.

Dickinson hasn't hit a homerun in SEC play since game 2 against Oklahoma.

Game #8 in SEC play. Were currently playing game #24. 16 SEC games.

Are we incapable of hitting anything on the ground? I’ll bet 75-80% of our outs are strikeouts and popups/flyouts

Bras did a great job of working deep into the count. But, come on, you gotta at least foul off that 3-2 fastball.

You can accuse Jay of a lot of things, but nobody believes more in Chase Shores than that man. Jay is his #1 fan
