And Mississippi state has passed up LSU facilities wise. Let’s just accept it for what it is. LSU is no longer the standard in college baseball

Did you not watch a ballgame last year??

Hell, the motherfricker has gotten worse this year, I don’t even know how that’s possible.

Oh what’s that? Another kid who can’t throw strikes.

Well at least it seems like we have a focused recruiting strategy with pitchers.

It looks like that Texas is way ahead of the Tiger program and working faster to achieve that 7th NC

Anyone in the stands got eligibility left? I just had acl surgery and might play better than these uninspired asshats.

No team is the standard in college baseball. There’s too much parity in the sport for anyone to dominate year in and year out.

Yep.

And I said it last night and I'll say it again. If we don't score some runs idc about the pitching.

They shouldn’t even be ranked.

The way they look in this two game sample you’re right. Not only is it a joke that they’re number one. They shouldn’t even be sniffing the top 25.

The problem with last year’s team is they couldn’t win on the road. And here we are getting drubbed in the first game and a half this season. We have no answer for guys getting on base. It’s basically a triple for every walk or single or hit batter. That’s how bad our battery has been so far.

So is Marceaux going to be the closer now too? Don't be so quick to demote Hess. Wait until the three game series plays out.

I mean Hess has shown to be outstanding in that role. He is a monster when he only has throw 1-2 innings. People that say well we have Peterson as closer.. You can never have enough bullpen talent.. Just make it a strength.. especially if our starters aren't going deep.

The problem is we don't have the amount of starters to do it. This is Marceaux's very first college road start.

And now we don't even have Hill pitching tomorrow? We are clearly just not ready ATM. Pitching can still get better, but WTF is up with the hitting. This Texas pitcher is not good at all. We have to have better ABs.

Complacency it’s rife across the athletic department.

LSU still superior to UT in 3 majors and it’s been that way for a while. The last 11 innings of baseball in Austin notwithstanding.

Good programs find away to establish a standard. There is ton of parity in college football and basketball and Kentucky, North Carolina, and Alabama in football continue to set the standard
