We pitched a bunch of nobodys man. Peterson proved he isnt any good and can't be counted on in the sec slate. He will continue to pitch midweek games and try to improve. I'm not happy we lost of course, but we didn't pitch anybody worth a damn and didnt remotely play our best game as a team. That's why we lost. These games mean more to these podunk teams like SLU than it does to LSU. That's a fact. It's not just LSU, it happens to a lot of top teams around the country every year. This is legitimately SLU's biggest game of the year by far. It's one of LSU's least important games of the year. Let's move on and get ready for this weekend.

Im not spinning it anyway at all. It's the truth. SLU beat LSU because it meant a whole hell of alot more to them than it did to LSU. Congrats on winning your biggest game of the season, a game which LSU clearly didn't care all that much about. That's just based on who we pitched and how CPM always approaches games like these. Good Lord, is it really that hard for yall to comprehend? Good win.

Lol. SLU fans are funny. This is by far the biggest game of their season, and it's just another midweek game for LSU. They will tell recruits that they're competing with uno and the nicholls to get that "we beat LSU, we beat LSU" hahaha. It's really comical.

If you say this game doesn't matter to LSU, then you don't understand RPI. It's certainly bigger for SLU, but any top-50 RPI win is important for every team in America

This game dosent mean jack shite to LSU. We play in the SEC and have plenty of good teams we have to play. We use games like this to get ready for the real competition we will hAve to face in conference. We still usually win thesee type of games, but to act like SLU is going to get LSU's best shot in a game like this is just ridiculous. Good win. Now you have something to tell your kids/grandkids about oneday and possibly tattoo the date on your body. You beat LSU in a midweek baseball game. Lol, congrats.
