It wasn't just "two bad throws" that got Lee to the bench in that game.

Well it sure wasn't JJ leading us to a rousing 6 points. That's right. Jefferson's claim to fame this year may be the fact that he led LSU to 6 points vs Alabama, about 15 less than Georgia Southern scored. Did Jefferson do a couple of good things that game, yes. Did he overwhelm Bama with his "skill set", no! 6 points, that's it!

Regardless, there's no excuse/reason why Miles should have shelved him completely.

That's all I'm saying. No reason at all for Lee to be posted on a milk carton after the Bama game. You want to start Jefferson, go ahead. But it was ridiculous to think that this offense was better running the Jefferson offense than having the ability to stretch the defense with the downfield passing ability that Lee brought.

Don't forget Demetrius Byrd, RobbBobb! He's the captain of the Lee sucks team, and without him, we wouldn't be where we are today!

What do you think D Byrd would say about the qb's now? He became disgruntled after 2/3 of a season with Lee, and wanted to give Jefferson a shot. What about Reuben Randle's opinion as a receiver who spent 3 complete seasons with Lee/Jefferson?

I hope Miles anticipates the hate (and boos) he will get if he benches Lee, and we lose a game

as a strong miles supporter, he will deserve all he gets if this happens.....and more.

Hope this sinks in with all those that "want to move on"

Don't know, don't care. I was trying to allude to the fact that his opinion doesnt mean much of anything.

2009: Miles shut down everything. Wasnt going to relive 2008. This ruined JJ. 35 sacks, and forever a fear of going vertical. Tuck and run is now the offensive mindset. Miles call "likes his feet"

2010: Kept Crowton. Now JJ and Lee have only one yr of eligibility with a different coach. JJ is still in the tuck and run mode. 9 ints, 4 TDs in the regular season. Lee is brought in (only to save Miles job). Once Miles got that 9th win (per contract for renewal), you never saw Lee again. Miles call

2011: Miles is forced to go exclusively with Lee. We now have one of the best offenses and QBs in the nation. And the best LSU has had in yrs. Tuck and run is banished. Huge wins on the road, and vs. ranked teams. And yet JJ is inserted on the 2nd series of his 1st game back. Doubt and uncertainty creeps in. Miles wants a 2 QB system (until he got that 9th win)

The rest is history. And all of Miles' making, except for the part where he was forced to go with Lee. And that was the best part

I'm not hating on anyone but your ridiculous opinion that Jarrett Lee is the only reason we won any games since the day he stepped on campus.

Seems the ESPN All_SEC team, the NFLPA Collegiate Bowl, the Stars and Stripes game, Randle, Peterson, TT, Gary Danielson, and perhaps Crowton share my opiniion

did you forget about defense, special teams, and the run game? they're kind of important.....but this post just proves how completely wrapped up in your little Lee conspiracy you really are.

i really am curious if you'll still be talking about him next season. its kinda creepy.

I think everyone agreed that Lee was sat down for good reason in that game.

Exactly...this would be one of the "situational" times that Les and many have agreed is the ideal method for using both QB's. Then the next game, Lee goes back to starting...QB's have bad games. But we know Lee never "really" gets back on the field for the rest of the season. JJ caused 2 penalties and 1 fumble and 1 INT through 3qtrs of the BCSNC and Lee never gets on the field still.

I guess Terrence Tolliver's incident where he asked Miles why all the starters had to earn their position on the field except JJ doesnt matter?

Or Shep's quote that JJ's problems were all mental in the summer dont matter either.

It still amazes me Miles would go out on a JJ is a great leader/developed into a great qb in the late spring and summer when there was never any evidence of either except what JJ would tell you that he was a great leader and a great qb.

Miles looks very foolish for propping a player who had none of those qualities.

We haven't had a QB overwhelm anyone with their skill set since Jamarcus Russell.

It's just an incredibly narrow perspective.

What Robb Bobb is saying is that we haven't won anything without Jarrett Lee the past 4 years.

His post is misleading, at best.

Lee sucking had nothing to do with the defense. He got thrown in as a freshmen because of RP getting the boot. LSUs defense didn't make him throw the ball to the other defenders. So blame RP for Lee in 2008...or blame Miles for kicking him off. thats probably more your style.

Wait, I thought Shep fought Tbob and Stud cause he knew JJ was the only way we'd win?

Can you guys get the rumors straight for me?

Choctaw always with the JJ and Miles love. Everything he posted was right on. People forget when Lee was a Freshman he was left in third and long nearly every series. 4 or 5 yards on first down then came in R. Murphy for the wildcat. We lose 3 or 4 then third and long. I can remember this several times. This is the same way Flynn was treated, moving the ball down the field then in comes RP.

Ah OBU Dan the quote by Shep is an actual quote not a rumor no matter how much u would like it to be! Has been linked several times on here in the summer. Feel free to go back and find it, I know JJ's bois dont like to deal with actual quotes facts and logic that make him look bad but here's a clue a quote isnt a rumor no matter how much u would like it to be!
