Add the team is 7-0 and there is the real possibility of benching the current starting QB this week.

I wouldnt go that far.. but I wouldnt suprise me.
And here's why.

UK... "situational plays"
Fla... situational plays and couple series
Tenn.... situational plays, couple series, starts second half.

I dont know where it all ends up or how it plays out.
All I can do is go by what Ive seen.

Lee throws 3tds and almost a fourth against UT and miles is going to bench him?

And according to the stats posted by LSU today, Lee would be the 20th rated QB. The NCAA is still not giving Lee credit for the TD pass to RS. LSU obviously knows the play called, and they are saying it was a designed pass

whether it was a designed pass or not isn't the issue. it's whether Shep caught it behind where the pass was released/ the pass went backward (I don't think it did). JJ had a TD pass last yr that was a called option play that he pitched, Ford just got the pitch in front of where he released it (or so the refs deemed it).

as for Lee, glad to see he's continuing to do well. I'm betting that he'll continue to be the starter.

Absolutely not. The anti-miles, anti-JJ crowd is full of idiots

I hope Miles anticipates the hate (and boos) he will get if he benches Lee, and we lose a game.

There's a right and wrong, and wrong would be benching lee after throwing 11 TD's and 1 int through 7 games.

Miles isn't bothered by the whiny pussy portion of the fan base that you are a part of.

To continue to whine and bitch about coaching when the team is blowing out everyone makes you and thedoc look like total idiots.

What about the challenge of the extra point yesterday?

Care to defend that?

That's all you got?

You can't be taken seriously. Hating on the job miles has done this year really makes you look foolish.

Surely, you can't be serious.

I really can't think that anyone actually thinks that Miles would even consider benching JL at this point. If Miles were to bench JL and we were to lose... how would he ever justify that?

Coach - "You benched JL who was 8-0 and ranked 20th in the nation in passing efficiency and the offense could never get going vs. Bama today. How do you explain that?" Miles - "Well, we felt JJ gave us the best chance to win??????"

What if we lose and he doesn't bench Lee? Can we be pissed then too?

He benched Lee to start the second half at UT. That was wrong.

So the idea of JL getting benched to start this weekend, or at Bama(still undefeated), is not a stretch.
