Damn right I'm serious! RP had one decent game and for some reason he was the savior of the program. Look at the facts Flynn future starting QB in the NFL and PR future penal league player.

Ah OBU Dan the quote by Shep is an actual quote not a rumor no matter how much u would like it to be! Has been linked several times on here in the summer. Feel free to go back and find it, I know JJ's bois dont like to deal with actual quotes facts and logic that make him look bad but here's a clue a quote isnt a rumor no matter how much u would like it to be!

I know what the quote is, and I know what he meant by it, and your interpretation is incorrect.

The comment was directly related to how he believed JJ had improved and that poor play in the past was due to "mental errors" and it was more directed as a criticism toward Gary Crowton.

you saying that Flynn moved the ball downfield and RP came in for the TD or whatever is just wrong. RP scored 2 TDs in 2007...thats it...just 2. And in the games that Flynn wasn't hurt...the most plays he ever ran in one game was 9. RP was never considered the "savior"...people were just excited about '08 because they knew he could play.

Oh so you knew the quote but you tried to make out like it was a rumor?

You dont think it is telling how even Shep commented on JJ having trouble mentally grasping the offense? Or are you going to tell us those performances by JJ were proof of how well he corrected his mental errors?

I mean I know JJ will tell us over and over how well he made decisions but I am talking about an actual accurate assesment not JJ's warped version of his reality!

Based on your postings it would seem even the slightest criticism of either get you in a tizzy!

Do you claim both are above criticism as your actions imply?

If you read this out loud, you could probably hear how ridiculous it all sounds.

as Flynn is on record as saying he got little to no QB coaching while at LSU
So that means Jimbo was not a very good QB coach...

forced to go with Lee.
You act as if Lee wasn't the back-up... Usually when your starter is not available, you go with the back-up. He could have started Mett over Lee, just saying...
