It doesn’t, but I would have made the same call. The fact that a D1 catcher can’t catch a fastball over the plate with the game on the line is pathetic.

I love everything Louisiana. I even root for Tulane, a private school. I was in hog heaven when SELA, LSU, LATech and ULL were all in the Supers but I swear these ULL fans do everything they can to make it impossible to root for them. Their inferiority complex is palatable and tastes like salt.

Then Patrick Wright is an idiot. Two teams fought their hearts out tonight. Both wanted to win. One team is trying to right the ship and has been swinging the bat pretty darn good over the last 4 games, all against highly ranked teams. UL just went 2 for 4 against them, but that's not why they are happy. They are happy because they are starting to play better, like an upper tier team, like they they were projected to do from the start of the year. That's why they were happy, jumping for joy. I would say, "they should act like theyve been there before", except, they have. Which makes it all the more pathetic.
They should expect to compete with LSU. Theyve always had a really good program. Goes to show how deep the butthurt runs.
