I wouldn't mind a steal here with Curiel or maybe even a hit and run if we can actually execute it properly

If we could for the love of god figure out some small ball we wouldn’t lose these close games.

Leading the nation in strikeouts doesn’t mean much when you have the worst era in the sec

LSU has one of the best OppBa in the SEC and leads the conference/nation in Ks. They give up runs because of free passes and wild pitches. They're really bad at that. That doesn't corroborate your argument that Yeskie is calling middle middle pitches. Our players lack command. They're not struggling with command every other pitch and then hitting the middle middle spot with 2 strikes. that doesn't even make sense.

if our catchers could catch and our infielders could field, we'd have 2x as many SEC wins also

1 pitch one out. Meanwhile Schmidt is in a 3-2 count every batter.

Their pitcher's pitch count was almost 80 entering the inning. That's not good through 4

Is this sarcasm?

80 pitches through 4 is absolutely good enough lol.

Ignore me, I see what you meant (I think).

A run here feels like it'd be huge for the confidence of this team

It always amazes me when people slide over the bag. Time your damn slide better.
