We started 7-0 that season.

Fournette was our whole offense.

The wheels came off in November. Les said during the Ole Miss game "I don't know what to do."

Looking at the 2015 roster, it’s sad to think all of that talent still lost 3 games, almost 4 considering MooState missed a game winning FG

2016 should have been the year.

2011’s defense overcame the QB and offensive philosophy issues that plagued Les post 2007. They could not be hidden or overcome any longer. 2012 and 2013 had great offensive units, but when you go back and watch the losses in those seasons, we left so many points on the field it’s ridiculous. None of the QB’s Les signed out of HS managed to do anything, so once Mett left we were screwed. This became very clear in the 2014 Miss St game. Jennings starts and does nothing. Harris comes in and almost brings us back. Problem was that he literally was just running around and making plays with his leg and arm. No semblance of an offense or scheme.

Still SMH at that comment. During that press conference he looked lost...then admitted it.

Give me a break, Les Miles was a joke. Hell, even the players that played on that 2007 national championship team to a man credit Bo Pelini for that natty far more than they credit Les Miles. That ought to tell you something right there.

Les was awesome and knew what he was doing initially. I think in retrospect, especially now with Coach O's success on display, Les' problem was being too stubborn to adapt and shift the offense into the new era. Hell, we still could've ran dual backfield majority of the time. Les just needed to be more open to a much more efficient passing system and use of varying formations. Instead, we were EXTREMELY predictable.

Les tried calling defensive plays that game. Heard this from a former GA that was in the booth.
