Hilarious. Total and complete Bama at #5 meltdown. No talk of Florida, SC, etc. Bamamania, catch it. Especially if you are a Tiger fan.
We are loving this up here. Even the Aubs arent spending as much time on us. You folks need to try to cope with this Saban thing. THis is unhealthy.
I believe you could start apost about the Pope and i would morph into a Bama topic.
Priceless. Free comedy daily. THanks for the time you spend on u s everyday. It can get boring here at the office and we get to see unhealthy obsession at any time. Makes you realize you arent so f'd up compared to some. Thanks again and we appreciate all the attention.

we will after week 1.

So you think us beating a team that didnt win a game last year, will put us in the top 10?

Only if a bunch of top 10 teams lose the first weekend which is very unlikley

it's very likely that either Va Tech or Bama will lose their first game...in fact, I'm making it the lock of the year.

Ok State has a tough game vs. Georgia

I don't get it either.......why some are so obsessed....

NOTE: LSU was preseason #7 last year without a proven QB as Bama is this year.....

The QB debate to me is a wash, QB with 2 starts or a QB that has been in system for 4 years and seen field in limited duty.
Jefferson has had more pass attempts in each of three different games than all of Bama's QBs combined. Jarrett Lee is in his 3rd year with the program and had more passing attempts in each of 9 different games than all of Bama's QBs combined. To say that their QB has "seen field in limited duty" vastly understates the depths of his lack of experience. Besides Andrew Hatch at the beginning of last season, Rick Clausen and Marcus Randall are the only two LSU QBs to start even a single game with fewer career pass attempts this decade. Matt Flynn had more experience than that when he started the '05 Peach Bowl. Mauck had more experience than that when he opened at Va. Tech. JaMarcus got more field experience than that in his first game as a freshman, when he wasn't even the starter.

Just to say we hired Chavis, Jefferson is starting so we are better is absurd to me at least.
Our defensive coaching was unproven going into last season, and proved to be substandard at best. We have hired defensive coaching that has proven to be exceptional. How is calling that an improvement "absurd"? And how do you simply gloss over the loss of Bama starters at RB, FB and TE? They return two OL, Julio Jones, Mike McCoy and NOTHING. Their entire backfield is newcomers. Five of the seven principal blockers for their running game (3 OL, TE and FB) are gone as well as the guy actually running it. And this is supposed to help take the pressure off a QB who's most meaningful field time was two passes in mop up duty against Auburn?

You seem to fill in productive answers to all of their question marks with assumptions about coaching and talent, and yet every question mark for LSU is answered with doubt and trepidation. Why is our defense not going to improve but their running game is? Why is there defense going to improve but our offense won't? Why is their unproven QB not going to be a liability but our far more experienced but "unproven" D-Linemen will be? We had glaring weaknesses last year that have undergone major changes with proven histories of results. What has Bama upgraded with a proven history of significantly more success?

Says the guy who's program is paying $5 million a year for someone to turn them into what LSU is . . . unless they're really just into paying over half a million per win and zero championships . . . and he's on an LSU board.

AP is usually the more accurate, unbiased poll we have.

I do not agree with Texas getting 2 votes over Florida.

I don't see how #11 is "flying under the radar" as some of you seem to think. A little spoiled are we?

Lastly, SEC and Big 12 (mainly South division) are the obvious big boys again.
