He hasn't pitched very long (Career wise. He only started pitching as a Junior in HS I think). Then he had that injury, but he's shown he can be dominate. Hopefully he can continue to improve and become elite again.

Hurd went like 17 innings of scoreless baseball and had somewhere around a 6-1 K/BB ratio from the Texas game to the Samford game.
He has the pitches. Just needs to find it again.

Auburn and Georgia tech played a 12 inning game earlier this year. It was a fun one. Tech led like 7-0 at one point and auburn ended up winning by 1 run
