You would think the supposed best pitching coach in the country would work with him on that. I have seen little to no improvements in the overall staff this year. I understand we have a lot of injuries but the pitchers other than Skenes, Herring, and Guidry have not improved at all. Some have even regressed. I am not counting Edwards and Shores.

For a guy that throws 92-94, collins is scared to death of his fastball

Skenes has gone from a sits 94 guy to a sits 99 guy and the #1 pitcher in college. That’s not terrible.

So discounting the best pitcher in the country and 2 freshman who are pitching extremely well. let's also ignore both Garrett Edwards and Shores?

On the overhead the field dimensions look small as well

With the injuries to Shores and Edwards, I feel like Collins becomes a huge piece for this team. We really need him to be a solid option out the pen.
