You shut your whore mouth. Roux is at almost .300, is tied for the team lead in doubles, leads the team in triples, and is tied for 2nd on the team in HR.

9 walks and only gave up 1 run. She was living right with all the line outs in the infield

Just lucky it wasn’t a good team that made her pay for those. Can’t walk that many.

Also leads the team in not watching the ball and being tagged out jogging back to dugout.

Well there is a reason they have her pitching in these midweek games instead to get experience and for her to try to develop.

They are going to need Berzon and Chaffin to step up as they progress through the season in conference play. As good as Kilponen is, or any pitcher for that matter, to compete for a title in any conference you're going to need some help and good productivity from others outside your #1 ace.

Ali Kilponen is a great pitcher, but she is a notch below Carley Hoover and Allie Walljasper, a duo LSU could have and should have ridden to a national championship.

So yes, while we can only take things a week at a time—and the first SEC series was a win—secondary pitching is going to have to step up significantly and this team is going to have to hit SEC pitching consistently to get back to national seed territory.

After the SEC gauntlet, there should be some sign that programs like Kentucky and Arkansas have not passed us up. If that trend continues, things will only get worse when Texas and Oklahoma come aboard.

Was at the game…I enjoyed it. A lot of energy out there by both teams, Train wreck of a ball field. Dugout and light poles block 1/3 of the field. Supposedly over 1100 there. Seating for less than 250.

LSU superior team. Many many errors by southeastern.

Found it interesting that the southeastern girls got out rakes after the game and were cleaning up the field and the bullpen.

Oh well, I had fun…
