Not really melting. The other guard won the game in the first half.

But yeah, Midwesterners don’t like double standards and racists like Angel. I did it for people that look like me. Lol.

I don't agree with her comments, but she's not a racist. She would have gone to South Carolina to play for Dawn, if that was the problem.

Ha ha, I did it for people that look like me. She’s getting ripped on Twitter. Taunting, nothing like what Caitlin did. Then she makes it about race.

Caitlin’s response:

“Q. Caitlin, can you tell us at the end of the game what happened? There's a lot blowing up on Twitter about Angel Reese following you around, pointing to her ring finger and taunting you?
?

CAITLIN CLARK: Honestly, I have no idea. I was just trying to get to the handshake line and shake hands and be grateful that my team was in that position. That's all you can do is hold your head high, be proud of what you did.

All the credit in the world to LSU. They were tremendous. They deserve it. They had a tremendous season. Kim Mulkey coached them so, so well. She's one of the best basketball coaches of all time, and it shows. She only said really kind things to me in the handshake line, so I'm very grateful to that too.

But honestly I have no idea. I was just trying to spend the last few moments on the court with especially the five people that I've started 93 games with and relishing every second of that.”

This should have been the game of the century. Then the officials make the best players sit with questionable fouls. Then an LSU player who wasn’t even the best player from LSU makes it about race.

Unreal.

LSU beat Iowa in the first half run. The other point guard is POTG and MVP. Angel is a race baiting.

Sorry, reality is Iowa lost. Reality is also Angel is low class to say this.

This is the only place you are correct. LSU had 3 starters in the bench (Angel Reese for 11 minutes) with foul trouble. It was LSU’s backups who blew the game open. Reese’s second foul was an all time horrendous call.

Caitlyn isn’t used to athletic girls guarding her all over the floor and she got called for pushing off. The “technical” was correct because it was for delay of game. Iowa was already given a warning. When you toss the ball into the crowd and away from all 3 official on the floor it’s a delay of game call.

pretty embarrassing for LSU players.

not for taunting. but to win a natty and still have an opposing player living rent free in your head. some deep seeded insecurity there

I prefer Dandy Don's summary of the situation:

"On the biggest stage of all, LSU played their very best — a complete team effort & historic performance. Most points in a Championship game & LSU’s first national title in basketball."

I completely agree and couldn't be prouder of Coach Mulkey and the Lady Tigers.

Great game so why exactly was Angel Reese calling her a loser repeatedly afterwards at the trophy presentation?

Trash talking since the summer, I get it. Say it once. Why repeatedly? Didn’t look like Alexis was in on the joke.

Lex, Angel, Jasmine & Ladazhia all played amazing today, and Kim had a terrific game plan. We put the clamps on both Clark and Czinano when we needed to, and the battle down low between Czinano and Reese was really something.

It would be hilarious if Clark reflects on her career goes into the portal and finishes up at LSU!

Sometimes it's an accidental down vote and many people don't know how or bother to correct it.

I'd much rather the board be dominated by discussions about how freaking clutch Alexis Morris was in the second half.

She drove dagger after dagger into Iowa at critical moments. Whew!
And they were PRETTY AS frick, TOO! Great form and just killer overall.

I don't like to compare to the men's program, but I was sort of thinking her drives and pullups at midrange are about the best you're going to see a lady do them.
