I'd much rather the board be dominated by discussions about how freaking clutch Alexis Morris was in the second half.

She had her up and downs the season (hard to say when we went 34-2), but she was clutch late in the game in most of our close games. She nailed the free throws to beat Utah, she was huge in the semifinal Va Tech game, and she answered almost every Iowa bucket in today’s 4Q. They couldn’t make a run because she always had the answer.

She never said anything about race. What she said was that people have been cutting on her down all season because she has been hit with a couple of technical fouls for taunting after a blocked shot or a made bucket.

I love Angel, but she's off the mark here. Do they get on her? Yeah. But there's a reason, and it's not how she looks. She's very demonstrative with her celebrations. Is she the only one? No, Clark is as well, and there is stuff out there on the internet calling her out, too. This idea that Angel is the only one getting called out is false. And most people have given her a pass with the ol' "she's having fun" line. So why bother responding to critics? Gotta let that stuff go if you're going to be in the spotlight.
