Cowan is really the only pitcher on the staff who pitches confidently at this point and can bounce back from something bad happening.

There was a point in time that William Schmidt was able to bounce back. That fricked up inning at Ole Miss killed that.

Even with the recent downturn, he’s still been better than he was last year. I think he will be ok put back in a better role. He’s a Sunday guy now. He can maybe be the Saturday guy next year. I don’t think he will ever be a true Friday starter.
Sheerin was pitching confidently at one point, but he’s been pretty off 2 of the last 3 series.
