I would have let Kade come back for at least one batter as good as he looked the previous inning. As hard as he was rolling, he could have had a 3-8 pitch easy inning. But that’s just me.

Serious question about pitching. Does the home team get to know first who the opposition's starting pitcher will be before selecting their starting pitcher?
If not, seeing how poorly LSU hits against top pitching, why wouldn't LSU consider pitching our best against the opposition's 3rd starter. LSU could get more runs support for our best pitcher. Almost assures at least one win, and then hope our Saturday starter is better than the oppositions. Just wondering why it is always best againt best. That is not working out well for LSU.
