Ball hit the dirt. Doesn’t matter if Garza snagged it, he has to tag the batter (or throw to 1B).

But if the batter walks back toward the dugout he gives himself up.

Beck has been just a really gradual improvement all throughout his career here. Slowly became one of the most reliable guys out the pen.

He was so jacked up about striking out Mangum. It looked like Mangum pretty much immediately went back to the dugout and gave himself up. But that could have been bad.
